Guest Bedroom #1 Inspiration
/Amongst all other home projects going on, we decided to rip the bandaid off and spend a day picking out furnishings for one of our guest bedrooms. Our family is coming to visit us in December for the holidays! With everything being on backorder we thought it would be best to start now so we could make sure that everything arrived in time.
Nailing down a “theme” for this bedroom was really hard. I went back and fourth from West Coastal Vibes, to Desert Vibes… but I couldn’t get myself to steer away from this Metal Framed Bed with such an awesome price point (under $500.. WHATTT!). I knew this was probably the best choice because it is so versatile. You can go girly, you can go rustic, you can go boho… and ugh, you could go Farmhouse (lol, I am really staying far away from Farmhouse!, but nothing against you if you do like it).
With the bed, I wanted to do a more open style concept with the nightstands which is why I chose these Accent End Tables. The price point was good. Again, these are versatile and could be moved around the house when I want to switch things up. On top, we are placing these glass lamps with a white shade. The shade can be swapped out. I did go back and forth from a tan, to a white, to a burlap… but to be honest, burlap was way too farmhouse, lol.
Giving the room a more of a desert vintage vibe, I am adding in the Tall Faux Yucca Tree and the Moroccan Poufs. There are SOOO many options for wall decor items, but these White and Gray Seagrass Woven Discs are what I am feeling at the moment. As of right now, I have a white vintage floor mirror that opens up as a jewelry holder, but I will likely replace with this Wooden Leaning Floor Mirror (because this mirror is under $300 and such a steal!).
To finish off the room, this Ruggable rug gives the perfect vintage vibe I am going for in here. Check out this awesome modern ceiling fan I came across. I haven’t shown it to Nick just yet, but I think he will like it!
